So, I got to go on an exciting trip a little while back. As it has been very quiet in Oslo lately, I decided to go on a trip to Rjukan both for fun and history. Rjukan is known from World War II when Norwegian paratroopers sabotaged the production of heavy water which the Germans intended to use to produce nuclear weapons.
Nowadays Rjukan is a place for nature, sports and culture. In addition to visiting the Vemork factory, I decided to bungee jump from the bridge leading to Vemork. It was one of the most thrilling things that I have ever tried! If you want to know more about Rjukan, you can read all about the activities at www.visitrjukan.com.
Took some images while there as well, check them out!
